Match Reports
On Sunday 29th our top Men's EBA Double Rink team entertained Gateway at home. After a good start by the Bay, Gateway quickly caught their bearings and tightened up the scores on both rinks. Towards the end of the game with a bit of luck flying around and the devastating "last wood" on many ends, the Bay unfortunately last overall by 12 shots.
Our live broadcast to the Vice-President was a bit patchy throughout the game, just as well considering our defeat. A bit of roasting followed from his hospital bed, he was definitely not impressed!
A big thanks must go to everyone who helped set up the greens for play, Stan Miller for Umpiring, Angie and Joyce and co for the lovely ploughman’s and for the lads who pulled the short straw (surprisingly willingly) did the washing up (pictured left).
