Herne Bay progressed to the Divisional semi final of the Kent County Cox cup with a remarkable come back against Ashford Rail. With one rink played at home and one away Bay were 6 shots adrift starting the 21st and final end. But the away rink of Terry Kelly, Shaun Woolford, Paul Woolford  and Grant Allen picked up a 4 to win 24 - 19 and the home rink of Dave Mason, Scott Whiting, Ian Robb and Joe Kelly also picked up a 4 and although losing 18 - 21 gave Bay an overall victory.

Herne Bay picked up 7 of the 8 points in their Forest of Blean league game with Ashford Town. Bay won 4 of the 5 triples played and by 45 shots.

2 East Kent Mixed Triples league games were played with Bay winning 5 of the 6 triples against Minster and by 38 shots and winning 4 of the 6 triples against Faversham and by 57 shots.

Bay only won 2 of the 6 rinks played against Borough of Croydon losing overall by 39 shots.

Bay seemed to escape the heavy rain that fell over the County when playing at Winget (near Strood) on Saturday. Rink honours were shared 3 each with Bay winning the overall by 19 shots.
