Bay continued their good form in the Forest of Blean League with a 62 shot win at Ashford Town. Winning 5 of the 6 triples played gained Bay 8 points and leaves them 6 points clear at the top at the halfway stage of the season.

Bay won 2 of 5 rinks played against Windmill but lost by 19 shots. John Rawlings, David Knight, Bruce Clayton and Alf Collar won 20 - 11

7 rinks were played at home to Ashburton Park with Bay winning on 6 and by 73 shots. The best winning rink was Danny Keleghar, Norman Kneale, Tony Ackland and Bob Baldwin 31 – 9. The Ladies also played Ashburton Park and won all 3 rinks and by 37 shots with Jan Starkey, Denise Guy, Ronnie Phillips and GillBaker winning 25 – 5.

In the mixed match with Civil Service both clubs won 4 triples each but Civil Service won a close match by 6 shots. The best winning triple for Bay was Marian Algar, Bruce Clayton and Bill Robb 28 – 11.
