Herne Bay got their Forest of Blean league challenge back on track with a 47 shot victory at Charing. Winning all 6 triples played enable Bay to pick up the full quota of 8 points.

Bay had a convincing 68 shot victory in the annual trophy game with Hythe winning all 6 triples played. Jack Packman, Mike Head and John Toms won 27 -7 the best score of the day.

In the second leg of the Trophy match with Sandwich the visitors turned up 7 men short. After some rearranging the match was played over 6 triples with Sandwich running out winners by 9 shots and winning back the Trophy that Bay held.

Bay travelled to Deal with a 14 shot advantage for the 2nd leg of the Trophy match but lost by 31 shots enabling Deal to retain the Trophy.

Bay ran out winners by 3 shots in the mixed match at Gravesend with both sides winning 2 of the 4 triples played. Best winning triple was Sue Grogan, Sara Trotter and Bill Robb 23 – 10

The Ladies played 4 triples against Sandwich with honours 2 each but Sandwich winning overall by 20 shots.
