Herne Bay bowlers Dave Mason, Scott Whiting, Grant Allen and Joe Kelly Won the Divisional Final of the County 4’s held at Canterbury Bowls club beating Canterbury’s Fisher, Vanderpeer, Cornfoot and Wells 21-19. They will now contest the County quarter final at the same venue on 19th July. Earlier in the week Mason and Allen lost the Divisional Final of the County pairs to Cornfoot and Wells on an extra end.
Bay picked up all 7 Thanet league points winning all 4 triples played at Broadstairs. They lost by 26 shots in the East Kent Mixed Triples League fixture at Cliftonville.
