Match Reports, Centenary

Following the hoisting of the new club flag, which marks our centenary year, a successful opening day saw almost 60 members taking part in the opening drive. With the majority wearing the new club uniform, the afternoon started with a spider which was won by Fran Hollingsbee.

With the sun making an appearance and the chilly weather not deterring the fun of getting out on the greens the results were as follows:

1^st with a score of +16                        Arie Van der Leer, Phil Inglis & Bill Robb

2^nd with a score of +14                        Colin Baker, Stuart Emert & John Toms

Joint 3^rd with a score of +12               Ged Higgins, Mike Head & Bill Castle

together with                                      Addy Sanni, Janet Packman & Roger Marcwick

Special mention, and huge thanks, go to Roy Starkey for gifting the club Centenary table number holders which he has designed and made himself.
