Herne Bay’s Dave Mason and Sara Trotter have qualified for the National Finals at Leamington Spa by winning the Kent area final in the mixed pairs. Played on a neutral green at Maidstone they beat a pair from Bromley Bowls Club. Bay won the Forest of Blean Millennium Cup one day event held at Boughton with Ashford Town runners up.
In the Forest of Blean League Bay moved to within 2 points of winning the league with a sound victory at Faversham.
