Oh what a night! Balloons, posters and streamers set the atmosphere for a wonderful evening of music that was enjoyed by almost 100 members, family & friends on Saturday night.
Neil Sartain, a professional reggae  singer, rocked the clubhouse  with his passionate tribute to Bob Marley and the Reggae genre. He belted out songs with enthusiasm as the members danced away to all-time favourites such as ‘No Woman No Cry’ and ‘Is This Love?’. Some of our members were great sports, dressed the part & even donned dreadlock wigs or carried pretend spliffs to get in the groove! Their costumes bringing a smile to all those attending. The fancy dress competition was won by George Johnson for the gents and Vicky Lewis for the ladies, winning a bottle of rum and malibu respectively.
A very successful night raised funds towards our centenary celebrations. Thanks go to our social committee for their efforts and organisation and to all those that helped on the bar.
