The Bernard Annand Finals were held at Herne Bay. Ramsgate beat Sandwich 48 – 42 in the final of the Bernard Annand Trophy and in a very close fought match Birchington beat Kearsney  37 – 35 in the final of the Bernard Annand Shield.

Herne Bay won 4 of the 6 triples played in the  Forest of Blean league match at Faversham and by 20 shots. Bay won only 1 of the 6 rinks played at Duke of Kent (Mottingham) and lost by 29 shots. The winning rink was Mary Watson, Maureen Tobutt, Tony Rowson and Stuart Emert.

Rink honours were shared 3 each in the mixed match at Folkestone but got the the overall win by 16 shots.
