Bay progressed to the 2nd round of the National double 4's with a 40 shot victory over Kearsney. The rink of Les Mason, Stuart Emert, Gary Allen and Jim Watson scored hotshot 8's on the 16th and 17th ends to win 36 - 12. Bay now face a tough away tie at St. Lawrence.

Bay won all 5 disciplines in the top club at Folkestone and will be away at St. Lawrence or Kearsney in the next round.

In the Forest of Blean league game Bay won 4 and drew 1 of the 6 triples against Faversham winning 6 1/2 of the 8 points available.

The Bay ladies played Canterbury in the National Top Club. Bay won the singles and pairs and Canterbury the triples and fours with Bay going through based on overall shot score.

Bay won 2 of 6 rinks played in the mixed match at Northfleet only going down by 2 shots overall.

Bay again won only 2 of 6 rinks played at Civil Service this time losing by 12 shots.
