Herne Bay returned to the top of the Forest of Blean league with a 75 shot victory over Boughton. Dave Mason, Robbie Irons and Ian Robb had an outstanding 32 – 5 win. Bob Baldwin, Bob Day and Bill Robb were down 13 – 2 after 8 ends but staged a stunning comeback to win 22 – 15.

In the East Kent Mixed Triples league rink honours were shared 3 each with Birchington with Birchington winning overall by 4 shots.

Bay won 6 of the 7 rinks played against West Surrey Bowling Association and won overall by 30 shots.

In the final mixed match of the week Bay comfortably accounted for Tudor (Eltham) by 95 shots winning 6 of the 7 rinks played and the one triple.
