Any chance Herne Bay had of winning the Forest of Blean league evaporated with a 19 shot defeat at Canterbury. Bay won 2 of the 6 triples played picking up 2 points.

Bay won the away match at Betteshanger by 35 shots winning 4 and drawing 1 of the 6 triples played. The best winning triple was Paul Reddock, Roy Chillingworth and Jim Watson 34 – 7.

Bay won 3 of the 7 rinks played against Tudor but ran out winners by 18 shots thanks to a 26 – 12 win for Edie Nicholls, Brenda Bridges, Bruce Clayton and Stuart Emert.
