In County competitions David Mason and Ian Robb won the Divisonal Final of the pairs with a 21 – 9 victory over Bradley Drake and Gordon Charlton from Sandwich. They will now be playing a County quarter final at Milton Regis on Wednesday 16 July.

Bay won 3 and lost 3 of the triples played in their Forest of Blean League encounter with Ashford Town but won overall by 30 shots

Herne Bay retained the Trophy in their annual match with Canterbury winning 3 and drawing 1 of the 6 triples played winning overall by 8 shots, the best winning triple being John Phillips, Ray Chipperfield and John Melford.

Bay won 4 of the 6 triples played in a mixed match against Dane Park but lost overall by 14 shots.

Bay Ladies won 2 and drew 1 of 6 triples played against Canterbury but went down by a narrow 2 shots overall.
