Both Herne Bay teams progressed to the next round of the National Doubles 4’s competition. Bay ‘C’ had an outstanding win at Canterbury ‘A’ by 6 shots and will now be at home to St. Lawrence. Bay ‘A’  had an 18 shot win over Kearsney ‘A’ and will now play at home to Sandwich.

The Bay Ladies travelled to Lyminge for the National Top Club and progressed to the next round where they will be home to either Canterbury or Kearsney.

Honours were shared 3 triples each in the East Kent Mixed Triples league match at Barham, Bay picking up 5 of the 8 points by virtue of winning overall by 14 shots. John Phillips, Ronnie Phillips and Bill Robb won by 18 shots.

Bay won 4 of the 6 triples played at home to Broadstairs and St. Peters with the triple of Danny Keleghar, John Dryland and Tony Bishop winning by 24 shots.
